Greetings Stampers & Crafters! I hope your week is going well – I’ve been busy doing some crafting with the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp Set and Love You More Than Dies! Today I made the Nothing’s Better Than Cocktails card.
Nothing’s Better Than Cocktails Card Details
My card starts with a Bermuda Bay base card stock cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Next I cut a panel of Basic Black to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Then I cut a Basic White Panel to 5″ x 3 3/4″. I added my own back ground using the following Stampin’ Blends – Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight. First I used the tips to flip towards the paper to create the splatter, then I used Blending Brushes to add some color.
Next I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. On a scrap piece of Basic White card stock I stamped the cocktail glass in Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I used the corresponding colors mentioned above and stamped the inside of the glass, umbrella and fruit! (Two Step Stamping). I die-cut them out using the Love You More Than Dies. Next I die-cut the Cocktails sentiment out in Basic Black card stock using same dies.
I adhered the cocktails with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I adhered the die-cut sentiment with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. Guess what I forgot though??? My “bling” 🙁 …… I also made a matching envelope!
For the inside I layered a panel of Basic White card stock and stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. And lastly I stamped another cocktail glass!
