Happy Thursday! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your week. I’m crafting this week with the Zany Zoo Bundle and today I created this Zany Zoo Greeting Card!
My card base starts with Basic Black card stock. I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder and attached it the front of the card. Then I cut a panel of Basic Black to 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″. Next I cut a Basic White panel to 4 1/4″ x 3″.
I used a Blending Brush with some Pool Party Ink to lightly create a colored back ground on the Basic White panel. Then I die cut the curtains in Pumpkin Pie card stock. I also die cut the tie backs in Basic Black card stock and adhered to the curtains with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next I die cut the little flowers out in Pool Party card stock and also adhered to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I used the Zany Zoo Dies to do all the die cutting!
Now the fun part is that I used the Zany Zoo Dies to cut out the Tiger from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper! I colored in the skirt with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends and adhered the Tiger to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next I die cut the circle using the Stylish Shape Dies and stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. I also adhered that to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly I added a little “bling” with the Iridescent Pastel Gems.
