I’m continuing this week crafting with the Translucent Florals Bundle. This awesome bundle will be available starting September 6th in the new September – December 2023 Mini Catalog! I actually took part in the Creativity Now event with Stampin’ Up! and this was one of the cards we made! I’m loving this Translucent Florals Happiness Card.
My card starts with a Basic White card stock. I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. Then I die cut the second-smallest Deckled Rectangle Die in Basic White card stock. I stamped the sentiment pins Garden Green Ink. Then I adhered it to the embossed panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next I stamped the leaves in Garden Green Ink on Basic White Card Stock. I die cut those out with the Translucent Floral Dies. Then I colored Vellum card stock with Dark Granny Apple Green & Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. Next using the Translucent Floral Dies, I die cut two smaller flower pieces from the Calypso Coral section and one leaf from the Granny Apple Green section.
Assemble the die-cut flower pieces and glue them together with Mini Glue Dots. Adhere the leaves and flowers to the card using Mini Glue Dots. Lastly I placed a Basic Black Classic Mini Dot in the center flower.
And yes I did once again make a matching envelope! I stamped the flower image in Calypso Coral Ink! I love the simplicity of this card with the flower and leaves making the statement and bringing the color in!

- Basic White card stock base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ – score at 4 1/4″
- Basic White card stock 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ (for embossing)
- Basic White card stock 2″ x 3 1/4″ (for die cut with Deckled Rectangle Dies)
- Basic White card stock 2″ x 2″ (stamp leaves in Garden Green)
- Vellum 2″ x 6″ (to color with Stampin’ Blends)
