Happy Wednesday Stampers & Crafters! I’m continuing this week creating with the Rustic Crate Bundle. Today I made the Rustic Crate Christmas Card. I love that the poinsettia stamp has the coordinating die to die cut it out! It beets fussy cutting LOL!
Rustic Crate Christmas Card Details
My card starts with Cherry Cobbler card stock. Next I matted a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock to the front. Then I embossed a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Next I cut a strip of the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I die cut a Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla circles out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the poinsettias with Tuxedo Black Ink on a Very Vanilla card stock.
Then I colored it in using the following Stampin’ Blends: Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Daffodil Delight. I did use the Color Lifter on the leaves to lighten the Mossy Meadow up a bit. Then I stamped the crate in Pecan Pie Ink. I die cut both out with the coordinating dies from the Rustic Crate Dies. I adhered them to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next I stamped the sentiment from the Ringed With Nature Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler Ink and punched both ends using the Happy Labels Punch.
For the inside I matted a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the poinsettias with Cherry Cobbler Ink.
Lastly I finished it off with a matching envelope using the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper! And yes I added a little “bling” with the Blooming Pearls and tied a bow with the Simply Elegant Trim!
