TGIF Stampers & Crafters! I’m finishing off this week crafting with the Planted Paradise stamp set. I’m focused on keeping it simple and I created this Planted Paradise Greeting Card with two basic colors, Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon! I was inspired by Su Mohr of Aromas and Art on this design.
Planted Paradise Greeting Card Details
The Planted Paradise stamp set is a “reversible” stamp set. So I used the “plain” side of the leaf stamp to create this simple image.
My card starts with Pretty Peacock card stock. Then I cut a Lost Lagoon panel to 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ and embossed it using the Fern 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Then I die cut Basic White card stock using the 3rd largest Deckled Rectangle Dies. Next I stamped the leaf image using Pretty Peacock ink randomly in several different strengths to get the different tones of color. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink.
Then I adhered the panel to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Of course I added a little “bling” with the Glossy Dots Assortments!
Of course I made a matching envelope LOL! But I used the other side of the leaf image so you can see what I mean by “reversible” stamps!!!
