Did someone say “Christmas” ….. yes I did! I couldn’t help it I received the Horse & Sleigh Bundle last week – An “On-Line” Exclusive from Stampin’ Up! Sooo I started thinking of Christmas in JULY LOL!!! Today I created this Horse & Sleigh Christmas Card.
Horse & Sleigh Christmas Card Detail
I started with a Misty Moonlight card stock base. Then I cut a panel of the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Next I stamped the Horse & Sleigh image on Basic White card stock in Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it in using the following Stampin’ Blends: Petal Pink, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Azure Afternoon & Bronze! Then I die cut the image out using coordinating dies. I also die cut the sleigh runner out in Early Espresso card stock and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Next I cut a piece of Petal Pink card stock to 3/4″ x 3″ and stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink. Then I used the Banners Pick A Punch to cut the end.
To finish off the front I adhered the Horse & Sleigh and sentiment to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and you can’t forget a little “bling” I added some Adhesive Backed Snowflakes in white!
I then finished off the inside by adding a panel of Petal Pink card stock. Then I added a strip of the Open Horse Designer Series Paper to the side and stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight!
