Hello Stampers & Crafters! Today I’m sharing the Gone Fishing Father’s Day Card created with the Gone Fishing Stamp Set & Dies. If your looking for a good stamp set to create a Father’s Day Card or Retirement Card than this set is for you!
I’m still mesmerized by the new 2024-2026 In Colors so much so that I used them on this card! My card base starts with the new Beige card stock. I layered a pattern of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper to the front.
The I die cut the top portion of the tackle box out in Beige card stock and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next I stamped the lures in Smokey Slate, Pretty In Pink and Peach Pie Inks. I stamped the bobbing lures in Misty Moonlight and Real Red Ink. Then I stamped the fishing lures in Smokey Slate, Summer Splash and Petunia Pop Inks. I die cut them all out using the corresponding dies.
Then I die cut the buoy out with Smokey Slate, Basic White and Real Red card stock. I adhered some Linen Thread underneath the buoy and then adhered it to the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The rest of the lures I adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy Ink on one of the die cuts and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Of course I added a little “bling” with the Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots!
