Happy Monday Stampers & Crafters! And Happy April Fools Day!!! All this week I’m featuring the Beach Day Bundle and who doesn’t like the Beach??? I’m originally from Huntington Beach, California – Surf Town USA! My brothers were all surfers and I remember them having so many surf boards LOL. So this bundle reminded me of them so I had to get it. Today I created this fun Beach Day Greeting Card.
This card is the first for this week’s Card Class To Go Kit – get the information below! My card starts with Poppy Parade card stock. I layered a panel of Lemon Lolly card stock to the front.
Next I die cut all the fun elements using the Beach Day Dies, Palm Tree (Crumb Cake & Lemon Lime Twist card stock), Grass (Lemon Lime Twist card stock), Sand (Crumb Cake card stock) and Ocean Waves (Azure Afternoon card stock). Then on a panel of Basic White card stock using my Blending Brushes I added some Poppy Parade and Lemon Lolly Inks to the top of the Panel.
I stamped the Life Guard Tower with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White card stock. Next I colored it in using Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends. Then I stamped the Surf Board with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White card stock and colored it using Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.
To finish it off I adhered everything to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue – except for the Surf Board which I adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Oh and I added a little “bling” Opaque Ovals!!!
