Happy Monday! Well it certainly has chilled down here in Central New York. I’m looking forward to the Fall Leaves changing colors! That is my inspiration for this weeks crafting and creating sessions. I’m using the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! Today I created the Soft Seedings Hello Fall Card. This card is very easy to make and came together rather quickly!
Soft Seedlings Hello Fall Card Details
I started with Pumpkin Pie card base. Then I layered a panel of Shaded Spruce. Next I embossed on Basic White card stock using the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. I wanted to add a little color so I used my Blending Brushes to highlight over the embossed section using Pumpkin Pie and Shaded Spruce Inks. Then I stamped the Leaf from the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink and I stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie Ink. Lastly I added a little bling using 2021 -2023 In Color Opal Rounds.
Here is a closer look at the shading using the Blending Brushes. I thought it really added to the character of the card. I adhered the front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the Shaded Spruce layer.
For the inside of the card I stamped the leaf image using Pumpkin Pie Ink on Basic White card stock and adhered it using Stampin’ Seal. I left it blank inside so that I can write my own note!
To finish it off I embossed the panel of a Medium White Envelope and again used my Blending Brushes to add some color with the same inks Pumpkin Pie and Shaded Spruce!
