Hi Stampers & Crafters! I’m continuing this week crafting and creating with the Penguin Place Stamp Set and Penguin Builder Punch from Stampin’ Up! Today I created the Penguin Place Happy Birthday Card! I’m lovin’ the bright cheery colors!
Penguin Place Happy Birthday Card Details
I started with a Parakeet Party card base and then layered a piece of Tahitian Tide card stock on top. Then I cut a piece of Basic White card stock and I used the Blending Brushes to add some Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide Ink to the top to make it kind of look like the sun and sky! Next I stamped the Balloons in Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet on a piece of Basic White card stock and fussy cut them out. I stamped the Penguin in Tuxedo Black Ink and punched him out. I also stamped the feet in Daffodil Delight and also used the punch to punch them out.
Then I stamped the bow, gift in Sweet Sorbet Ink and fussy cut them out. I also cut out a piece of 2022-2024 In-Color Designer Series Paper to layer on the Basic White layer. Then I stamped the string image 3 times and adhered all of the stamped images with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Penguin Place Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink and of course I had to add some bling with Glossy Dots Assortments.
I love how bright and cheery this Happy Birthday Card is – I’m not a fan of fussy cutting LOL! But I still think the card turned out cute.
Inside Card
For the inside I stamped the Sentiment from the Penguin Place Stamp Set in Sweet Sorbet Ink and stamped the gifts and balloon in same colors used on the front of the card.
I finished off my Penguin Place Happy Birthday Card by making a matching envelope I’ve got this thing with matching envelopes LOL!
