Happy Monday! Last week it was all about penguins. This week I’m crafting and creating with Birdies and Birdhouses. I’m using the Garden Birdhouses Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! Today I created the Garden Birdhouses Thank You card.
I love this stamp set and it’s perfect for coloring in the images with Stampin’ Blends!
My main colors are Garden Green and Polished Pink – I love how bright they are together!
Garden Birdhouses Thank You Card Details
- Start with Garden Green card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
- Cut Polished Pink card stock to 5 1/4 x 4 and adhere to card base with Stampin’ Seal
- Next cut a Basic White card stock to 5 x 3 3/4
- Lightly apply Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green Inks to White panel with Blending Brushes
- Next stamp the poles, the birdhouses and the bird in Soft Suede Ink
- Then take the flower image and the grass image and stamp randomly using Granny Apple Green Ink
- Next color images with Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends
- Use a Layering Circle Die cut out a Basic White circle
- Stamp the sentiment in Garden Green Ink, adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Adhere some 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to the card for some extra “bling”
For the inside of the card I did the same thing I used some Granny Apple Green ink and the Blending Brushes to add a little color on the bottom of the white panel, then stamped the flowers and grass images. I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Print Stamp Set in Polished Pink Ink.
And you know me by now right that I love matching envelopes!!!! I really like how this came out and it was very easy to make plus I especially love coloring with the Stampin’ Blends!
