Greetings Stampers & Crafters! I’m crafting this week with the Adorable Owls Stamp Set. Todays card is the Adorable Owls Greeting Card. The Adorable Owls stamp set is FREE as part of SALE a-bration with a $50 purchases beginning January 5th!
Adorable Owls Greeting Card Details:
My card base starts with Crushed Curry card stock. I then embossed a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock with the Hive 3D embossing Folder. Next I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut the center out and layering a piece of Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper behind it.
I stamped the two Owl images with Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White card stock scraps. Then I colored the owls in using the Watercolor Pencils. I used Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray, Early Espresso and Crushed Curry pencils. This was the first time I’ve used the Watercolor Pencils and I really like them!
Next I fussy cut the owls out and adhered them to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I stamped the sentiment in Crushed Curry Ink on Basic White card stock. I used the Banners Pick A Punch to create the label and adhered it the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
To finish off the front I tied a bow of Pumpkin Pie Twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack which will be available on Jan 5th from the new Mini Catalog. And of course I added some bling, Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins which will also be available Jan 5th!
For the inside I stamped the owl and colored it in with same Watercolor Pencils. Then I stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie Ink!
