TGIF Stampers & Crafters! I’m finishing off this week crafting and creating with the Rustic Crate Bundle. Today I created this Rustic Crate Greeting Card. I love this bundle and how versatile it is for Fall – Christmas and Spring!!!!
My card starts with Calypso Coral card stock. I matted a panel of Garden Walk Designer Series Paper to Old Olive card stock and adhered to the front with Stampin’ Seal.
Next I cut a strip of Basic White card stock and embossed it with the Stripes Embossing Folder. Then I used my Blending Brush and applied some Calypso Coral Ink to the front. Then I die cut the crate out in Pecan Pie card stock (yes Pecan Pie – I know it looks darker in the photo?)
I stamped the flowers on a Basic White card stock with Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I colored them in using Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Next I die cut the gardening gloves out with the Rustic Crate Dies in Old Olive. I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral Ink and used the Cheerful Daisies Dies to cut out the label.
Then I adhered the crate, flowers, gloves and sentiment all with Stampin’ Dimensionals. And of course I added a little “bling” with the Iridescent Pastel Gems. Don’t forget to tie a bow around the opening with some Crumb Cake Bakers Twine.
