Happy Thursday Everyone! I’m back again today with my Modern Garden Special Day card. I took a different spin on this card today – I have to say I do love the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper!
My card base starts out with Calypso Coral card stock. I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the 3D Basics Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next I cut a smaller panel of Calypso Coral card stock and layered the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper to the front. I adhered that to the front with Stampin’ Seal
Then I cut a strip of the floral DSP and snipped the end accordingly. Next I layered that to a slightly larger strip of Calypso Coral card stock and also snipped the end. I layered that to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I die cut the circle out using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
Next I stamped the different flowers with Poppy Parade and Calypso Coral Inks. I also stamped the leaves in Pretty Peacock Ink. I layered that to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock Ink and snipped the end. To finish it off I adhered a few Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the front and tied a bow using the Braided Linen Trim.

- Calypso Coral card stock base 11″ x 4 1/4″ – scored at 5 1/2″
- Basic White card stock embossed panel – 4″ x 5 1/4″ – 2 1/2″ x 1/2″ for sentiment
- Calypso Coral card stock layers – 1 5/8″ x 5 1/16″ – 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
- Garden Walk Designer Series Paper – Floral Pattern – 1 1/2″ x 5″; Striped Pattern 2 3/8″ x 3 5/8″
