Happy Monday! All this week I am crafting with the Lighter Than Air Suite. Today I created this Lighter Than Air Greeting Card. I’m loving the Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper, the colors are so cheerful and “uplifting”!!
Lighter Than Air Greeting Card Details
My card starts with Petal Pink cardstock. I then took a pattern of the Lighter Than Air DSP and adhered it to a panel of Balmy Blue cardstock.
Next I die cut different patterns of the Lighter Than Air DSP with the Hot Air Balloon Dies. Then I die cut the trims and baskets in Calypso Coral and Azure Afternoon card stock using the Hot Air Balloon Dies. I also die cut the hanging basket in Pebbled Path using the same dies. *TIP: For the trim and hanging baskets use the Adhesive Sheets when die-cutting!
Next I assembled all the elements on the balloons. I adhered the larger balloon to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered the smaller on to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next I cut a strip of Balmy Blue card stock to 3/4″ x 3 1/4. I also cut a strip of Basic White card stock to 1/2″ x 2 7/8″. Then I stamped the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink. I used the Banner Punch to punch the edges. Next I adhered the sentiment to the Balmy Blue card stock with Multipurpose Glue. I adhered that to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly I tied a bow with the Flirty Flamingo Bakers Twine and added a little “bling” with the Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots.
