TGIF Crafters & Stampers! I’ve had a very busy week so I’m looking forward to the weekend to relax a little! Today I created this awesome Quiet Meadow Birthday Card with the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set and Meadow Dies from Stampin’ Up! I CASEd this card from Claire Daly a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Australia.
The technique used for this card is called “Collage Stamping” where we use multiple different stamps that coordinate with each other and layer them together using coordinating colors.
Quiet Meadow Birthday Card Instructions
- Start with a Crumb Cake card stock base 11 x 4 1/4 scored at 5 1/2
- Basic White card stock cut to 4 x 5 1/4
- Stamp the images with Crumb Cake Ink and Early Espresso Ink
- Die cut the flowers out using Rose Gold Metallic Speciality Paper
- Stamp the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Early Espresso
- Die cut the sentiment out with the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies
- Adhere the die cut flowers with Fine-Tip Glue Pen
- Adhere the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Tie a double bow with Linen Thread and and adhere with Mini Glue Dot
Adhere some Brushed Metallic Adhesive backed dots to the front for some added bling!!
For the inside cut a Basic White card stock to 4 x 5 1/4 and stamp the flowers with Crumb Cake ink and stamp the dots with Early Espresso Ink. Adhere to the inside with Stampin’ Seal.
By now you know I love to have a matching envelope – so I stamped the dots with Early Espresso ink on the flap of the envelope!
