Happy Friday Everyone! It’s been a crazy busy week and I wanted to finish this week off with my last Hello Ladybug Hugs Card. I made this card for a sweet friend of mine who had to say “good-bye” to her dog Winston of 17 years. So today I’m thinking of her with all my heart.
I started with the card base in Basic Black. Layered Real Red card stock on top and then embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock with the 3D Timber Embossing Folder.
I punched out the Lady Bugs using Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper. Then stamped the wings using Real Red ink and punched them out using the Ladybug Builder Punch. To get creative I punched 3 sets of the wings out using Granny Apple Green card stock and then cut and scored the wings. I adhered the wings to the card using glue dots and layered the lady bugs on top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly I stamped the sentiment Peaceful Moments stamp set on a piece of white scrap paper in Memento Black Ink. I then used the Banners Pick a Punch to create the banner. The sentiment is adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I finished off the inside below by layered a piece of Whisper White cards stock cut out using the Stitched Rectangles Die Cuts. The sentiment from the Big Hooray stamp set was stamped in Memento Black Ink and the flowers were stamped in Real Red ink along the bottom.
