I had every intention of posting yesterday but I got a call from a “Besty” who was having a rough day due to a sick kitty cat. So I put off making my Hello Ladybug card and enjoyed some time sitting by the pool with my friend. I love that being an Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator you have the flexibility to make your own schedule! Anyways I made this card for my “Besty” using the Hello Ladybug Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up to let her know she “can bug me anytime!”
I wanted to keep this pretty simple so I started with the card base in Tahitian Tide. Then I layered some In Color Designer Series Paper. I used another layer of Tahitian Tide and stamped the images using Tahitian Tide Ink. Guess I am going for a monochromatic look?
Then I used the Ladybug Builder Punch to punch out the ladybug. I stamped the wings in Tahitian Tide ink on a piece of scrap Whisper White card stock and again used the Ladybug Builder Punch to punch the wings out. Then I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black ink. I layered it all to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly I added some “bling” using the Glossy Dots Assortment.
For the inside I simply stamped the images and sentiment using the Tahitian Tide ink on Whisper White card stock and layered it to the inside. All done and ready to get in to the mail today!
