I am enjoying this week and the warmer weather that we are lucky to have. Spring is one of my favorite seasons, I enjoy seeing everything come back to life! These new In-Colors remind me of spring and I love using them, it gets my creative juices flowing!!! I am in-love with the new Cup of Tea Bundle in the 2022 – 2023 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog. It’s such a fun stamp set to play with. This is the second card I’ve made using this set.
I love the new In-Colors as well! This project features two of my favorite colors Parakeet Party and Sweet Sorbet. The colors go together so well and they are bright and cheery!
Instructions – Cup of Tea Bundle
- Basic White Card Base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
- Sweet Sorbet Card Stock 5 1/4 x 4
- Basic White Card Stock Layer 5 x 3 3/4
- Scraps of Basic White Card Stock for tea cup dies, lemons, flowers and leaves
- Tea Boutique Designer Series paper for tea cups
- First stamp the tea cup & flowers in Sweet Sorbet on basic white card scrap
- Then stamp the leaves in Parakeet Party on basic white scrap
- Next stamp the lemons in Daffodil Delight on basic white scrap
- Using the die cuts cut out the various images
- Layer Sweet Sorbet to the card base
- Next layer the leaves on the white card stock
- Attach the three tea cups and flowers on the from with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Finish by adding the In-Color Matte Decorative Dots
Inside Card
- Stamp the green leaves with Parakeet Party
- Use the Layered Circle Dies to cut out a circle with the Tea Boutique DSP
- Cut out a smaller circle from the Layered Circle Dies in Basic White
- Stamp the greeting with Sweet Sorbet
- Layer together and adhere to inside of card
