TGIF! I’m finishing off this week crafting and creating with my favorite retiring products from the July – December 2022 Mini Catalog. Today I created this cute (and a little different) Christmas Barn Sleigh Card!
Christmas Barn Sleigh Card Details
I started off with an Old Olive card base cut to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. Next I cut a piece of Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and layered it to the card base. Then I cut a piece of basic white card stock to 5″ x 3 3/4″ and I used Blending Brushes to add some Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam for a background.
Next I stamped the fence in Soft Suede Ink. Then I stamped the Sleigh in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Bronze, Cherry Cobbler, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. Next I stamped 4 trees on Basic White scrap paper. 2 were stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink and 2 were stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink. I lightly colored the darker trees with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Ink. Then I stamped one tree in Cherry Cobbler Ink I cut out all the images using the Barn Dies.
Next I stamped two trees on the Basic White panel in Mossy Meadow Ink (one tree is stamped off). Then I adhered the 4 cut trees and the fence with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink and then adhered the Sleigh and Tree with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly finished off the inside stamping the sentiment from the Christmas Barn Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler Ink. Then stamped the trees with Old Olive Ink (stamping off for lighter trees)
