TGIF Stampers & Crafters! I’m finishing off this week crafting with the Brewed For You Bundle from Stampin’ Up! Today’s creation is my Brewed For You Greeting Card! I’m loving the colors and the watercolor technique. I CASed this card from another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Australia – Bellestampin with Ann Alexander.
Brewed For You Greeting Card Details
I started with a Fresh Freesia Card Base. Next I cut a piece of Vellum to 5 1/4 x 4 and I used So Saffron and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends to color on the Vellum (one at a time). Then I took a small paint brush and applied rubbing alcohol to the edges, next I used a straw to blow the alcohol around the panel to create the watercolor effect. I layered the Vellum to a piece of Basic White Card Stock. Then I stamped the glasses on Basic White Card Stock with Tuxedo Blank Ink and colored them with the Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I cut them out using the Brewed Dies.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the Brewed For You Stamp Set in Fresh Freesia and used the label die from the Holly Berry Dies to cut out the sentiment. I applied all to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the inside I layered a panel of Basic White Card Stock on the inside. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set in Fresh Freesia Ink. I also stamped the wine glass in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it in with the Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends.
Lastly I finished off my Brewed For You Greeting Card with a matching envelope!!
